Introduction
The Long Term Research Grant Scheme (LRGS) under the Malaysian Research University Network (MRUN) is a collaborative research program designed to promote excellence in developing theories, innovative ideas, and creations in strategic areas of knowledge. Alongside various other high-impact programs and projects, LRGS MRUN aims to attract young researchers, increase the number of undergraduate and PhD graduates, enhance graduate readiness, and broaden the scope of publications, awards, and intellectual property.
